We will develop a long term strategy to achieve the collective aims of all businesses involved with tourism across North Norfolk. The immediate priority aims as identified in the recent survey are as follows:
- To encourage quality in all aspects of tourism including; services, produce, hygiene, promotion and marketing.
- To develop and encourage links with local suppliers
- To work with North Norfolk businesses, forging close local links and extending those links across the various business sectors
- To develop a strategy for training, using when and where ever possible, local trainers and course providers
- To encourage all local businesses to adopt the 'Welcome Host' training initiatives
- To work with other North Norfolk businesses to introduce and support apprenticeship schemes
- To work with local schools and colleges to develop courses and projects to help school leavers find employment in North Norfolk
- To encourage North Norfolk businesses to adopt a 'green' approach by focusing on supporting local suppliers, developing recycling initiatives and promoting the use of all the available public transport
